I will talk about my personal favorite piece of technology, which is the cellphone:

The cellphone is a device that help us to be closer with each other. No matters the distance, I can reach out to someone in a different city or country and talk to him. With my cellphone I can take pictures, check my email and different other social medias, also, I can check my heartbeat every time I jog or workout . I use it every day, when i listen to music, talk to my girlfriend and family or watch videos from YouTube. I like it because basically I organize my life with it. My life would be definitely harder without it, because carrying a notebook or any other device to use internet is less comfortable because of the weight. I believe that the cellphone is one of the best invention in the history of humanity.
